Getting Started with DomoAI
To get started, head over to the official DomoAI website. However, please note that DomoAI is currently only accessible through Discord. Once you're on DomoAI website, you'll find a link to their Discord server. Click on it, and you'll be redirected to the official Discord server of DomoAI.
If you already have a Discord account, then it's great; simply accept the invitation to enter the server. If you're new to Discord, you'll need to create a new account to use DomoAI. Enter your email and password, then click on "Claim Account.". A verification code will be sent to your email for verification of Discord account creation. Click on "Verify Email," and you'll be redirected to Discord again. Here, you'll need to answer a few questions for Discord profile setup and click on "Finish" to enter the Discord server. Don't worry if you're new to the Discord server; I'll guide you through the process. its very easy.
Exploring DomoAI Features
Once you're on the Discord server of DomoAI, you'll see different channels on the server that serve different purposes. To learn more about DomoAI features, check out their "About Us" channel. Currently, DomoAI offers four main features to its users:

The "Slide" command is used to restyle videos, and it's the feature we'll focus on in this guide. However, there are other cool features available as well:
* /gen: Similar to Mid Journey, it can create images from text with good results.
* /animate: can convert an image to a video, which is quite handy.
* Animator Realism: A novel model that can convert any anime character into an actual character, providing a fun experience.
Feel free to explore these features, but for now, let's focus on restyling videos using the "Slide" command.
Restyling Videos with DomoAI
To restyle a video, click on any of the "Generate Video" channels. These channels are public, so you can see what others are generating, and others can see what you're generating.
To start generating a video, type "slide" in the message bar and select the command "upload.". Upload the video you want to restyle and enter a prompt to describe that video. For example, if you're uploading a video of a TikToker dancer, simply put "girl dancing" as the prompt and hit enter. Accept the terms of service, and you'll see the settings.
The first option is selecting a style. DomoAI offers a variety of models to choose from, each providing a unique style. In this guide, we'll be using the default "Flat Color Anime" style, but there are other great models like "3D Cartoon", "Comic", "3D Model", "Pixel Style", "Storybook Style", "GTA Style", "Paper Art", and "Vanol Style.". I encourage you to try them out!
The second option allows you to choose whether to refer to the original video more or the prompt more while generating. If you just want to change the style and have entered a simple prompt, select the first option. However, if you want to add other elements or change specific aspects of the video, mention that in the prompt and then select the "Refer to my prompt more" option.
The last option is to select the length of the video. For your first generation, I recommend starting with the 3-second option. Once you're happy with the result, you can try the 10-second option.
Once you've made your selections, click on "Start.". Depending on the length you selected, you might need to wait for the process to complete. Since others might also be generating, you might need to scroll down to find your post. Your post will be highlighted in a different color once the video is generated. You can preview it right there and download it by clicking on the download icon.
If you don't like the video, you can try regenerating it or adding more detail to your prompt to better guide the model. If you're satisfied with the result that you generated, you can download it. However, please note that there is a limitation for restyling your videos. You can't generate videos longer than 10 seconds (or 5 seconds if you're using the free version). If you want to generate longer videos, you have to buy there subscription plan. You can use any video editing software, like CapCut software. Import the restyled videos, split them into 5 or 10-second segments or clips, and export each part. Bring the restyled videos back to the timeline, match them with the original video, remove the original, and export the final restyled video. Now you can create a longer, restyled video.
Subscription and Pricing
Now let's address the big question: Is DomoAI free to use? On their subscription page, they mention providing a free plan with 45 credits for one-time use, which is quite limited. With the free plan, you can only generate a 9-second video, and it will have a watermark. If you intend to use DomoAI more frequently for your TikTok or clients, I would recommend subscribing to their basic plan, which costs $9.99 per month. To subscribe, go to any of the generated channels, type "SLS subscribe," and select the Subscribe option.
